Project Details
The government of Bangladesh has given highest priority to development power sector of the country and has committed to making electricity available to all citizens by 2021. The GOB has prepared Power System Master Plan (PSMP) in 2010. In line with the country strategy, the Government of Bangladesh decided to implement a new Greenfield 165 MW Gas fired Power Plant at Kushiara of Fenchugonj Upazila in Sylhet district. The project has land acquisition, physical displacement of livelihood resource base. Land acquisition and resettlement involved with the project.
